What Face Data We Collect

We collect facial photographs in the following situations:

• Color Analysis: During onboarding, you take a selfie for AI-powered color analysis
• Community Sharing: When you choose to share your results in communities or publicly, your photo may be included

How We Use Face Data

Your facial photographs are used exclusively for:

• Color Analysis: AI analysis to determine your color season, undertones, and personalized color recommendations
• Profile Display: Showing your photo in your personal profile and analysis results
• Community Features: When you explicitly choose to share results, your photo may be displayed with your shared content
• User Experience: Providing consistent experience across app features (photo studio, color matching, etc.)

We do NOT use face data for: facial recognition, identity verification, biometric analysis, marketing, advertising, or any other purposes beyond color analysis and user-initiated sharing.

Face Data Storage and Security

• Storage Location: Face data is stored securely in Supabase cloud storage with private bucket access
• Security Measures:
  • Private storage buckets (not publicly accessible)
  • Time-limited signed URLs with automatic expiration
  • Encrypted transmission and storage
  • Access restricted to authorized app functions only
• Third-Party Access: We do NOT share face data with any third parties

Face Data Retention

• Retention Period: Face data is retained while you actively use the app
• User Control: You can delete your face data and all associated information at any time through app settings
• Complete Deletion: When deleted, face data is permanently removed from all storage systems, databases, and caches with no backup copies retained

Other Data Collection and Storage

Local Data

The following data is stored locally on your device:

• App preferences and settings
• Color analysis results and history
• Personal color palettes and recommendations
• Usage statistics and analytics

Server Data

The following data is stored on our secure servers:

• Your facial photograph (as described above)
• Color analysis results (for account continuity)
• Community posts and interactions (when you choose to participate)

Your Data Control

You have complete control over your data. You can:

• Access all your stored data through the app
• Delete your face data and profile information at any time
• Remove individual photos or analysis results
• Delete your entire account and all associated data
• Control sharing settings for community features

App Permissions

Klea AI may request certain permissions to enhance your experience:

• Camera: To capture photos for color analysis
• Photo Library: To access existing photos for analysis or save results
• Notifications: To send you reminders and updates

You can manage these permissions through your device settings at any time.

Community and Sharing Features

When you choose to participate in community features:

• Private Communities: Your shared content is visible only to community members
• Public Sharing: Content shared publicly is visible to all app users
• Data Included: May include your photo, color analysis results, and outfit recommendations
• Control: You can remove or delete shared content at any time

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for secure cloud storage and backend services. Supabase complies with industry-standard security practices and data protection regulations. We do not integrate with any other third-party services that would compromise your privacy.
